Description
Bright yellow-green colour with soft reddish highlights. Fine and powerful aromas on the nose, typical of the Gewürztraminer variety, with rose, lemon blossom and ripe peaches in the foreground. On the palate it is fruity and balanced, harmonious and fresh, with accentuated acidity, nerve and a long-lasting aftertaste. Full body with a distinctive presence of alcohol. It accompanies fatty fish with intense flavours, Asian cuisine, smoked meats and can be served with fresh fruit and even as an aperitif. Ideal drinking temperature: 8 - 10 °C .
The word Lacrima means tear in the Vlach dialect, indicating the clarity of the white wine. In the old days, Lacrima was the name given to very good quality wine.
Lacrima '21 received a worldwide distinction as one of the 20 best wines in the world for 2023 by Asia Import News, the largest import magazine in Asia.
Lacrima '21 received a gold medal at the competition held in Paris by London-newspaper.com, one of the UK's largest and best-known product import magazines.
Lacrima '21 was awarded Gold in a competition by Americawinespaper.com, the leading magazine for wine importers and suppliers in the United States of America.
Lacrima '23 was awarded Silver in a competition by the London Wine Competition, one of the biggest magazines for wine importers and suppliers in the United Kingdom.
In our trophy case of white, Imperator Lacrima is added for yet another gold award. The competition was conducted by the Berliner Wine Trophy 2024, the most renowned global competition based in Berlin.
